Counseling
At Carpenter School, our school counseling program with Mrs. Fillion is dedicated to supporting the social-emotional growth of all our K–2 students. Through biweekly classroom guidance lessons, students explore important themes like self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Together, we practice mindfulness, problem-solving strategies, and character education to build a strong, positive foundation for every child. How We Support Our Students:
-
Individual Support: Students can visit the counselor as needed. Referrals can also be made by parents or our Child Study Team.
-
Small Skills Groups: We host 6–8 week small groups throughout the year, tailored to meet the changing needs of our students.
